If you are going to get a laptop with sick processing power, and will be able to take serious advantage of more than 4 GB of RAM, 64-bit is fine. In general, laptops are underpowered, however, designed more to reduce heat and use less electricity--not designed to play complex games, or render 3d video, etc.
You'll be able to run more shit successfully on the 32 bit. Not much out there for full 64 bit yet. Headphones are still only 24 bit. :D

Yep, I did. It was fucked up so I sent it back. I bought a replacement today and from what I understand, the one I got can run at 32 bits or 64 bit....IE. I'm sure I don't understand what the guy said. But basically, my computer came with a 64bit sign on for ie and a 32bit sign on for ie. I'm sure I don't understand that either. Fuckin technology. ;D

I had to get a tablet because I needed the pen application for work. Kinda, but not really, limited on choices.
