Guy went from totally unimportant with a flock of what, 50 people? to headline news every day for a week. What fools we are to reward bad behavior like this. If we were a smarter society, we would have just ignored him for the kook he is, and not afforded him all of this inane free coverage. What, now he's a political force? This seems part of the theatre for a save face option for Iran.
Give them something they can spin at home - so they can offer clemency to the cause celebre.
