I'm gonna re-read the Bible now that my thinking has changed and see how differently I interprete it's meaning. Is there a good study bible or bible that puts it into more simple words that is accurate or the same as the Bible? That sounds stupid as shit, but I think you can figure it out.....I don't feel like re-typing the post. ;D
I think reading the Bible now will be much different than when I was religious. I'm kinda excited about doing it for some reason. Entertainment maybe??? ;D
Here's a better alternative. ;)

Hooky, good question. I will tell you that any Bible you get is more than likely of course and naturally going to have that Christian bias.
I would assume you used a King James Version. I use a New International Version that has footnotes on a lot of the passages. These come in quite handy sometime.
Funny enough....I've been rereading the damn thing too lately and doing exactly what you are doing. I started last week and do it in my free time, which isn't much lately. I'm in Exodus now where Moses is doing the 10 plagues! Guess what.....it's WAY different with the new perspective. I have this idea that I'm think not only was Jesus a fictional character....but I think Moses could have been also. The story isn't nearly as impressive anymore. Pretty wild stuff.

I never thought I'd want to blow a load on Corinthians, but now I'm not so sure...

See Craig.....I probably missed that picture when reading the Bible as a Christian. Now.....that my eyes are open to the light......I'll see it. ;D ;D
You can pretend you're Moses parting the Red Sea with your Mighty Staff... ;D ;D ;D
;D ;D ;D
Hell yes!!!!! ;D ;D
