I actually think that there's a lot to be said as to how someone behaves the way Ted Haggard does. I mean, if he was molested, he had a mountain of undiagnosed psychological problems that led him to his devout faith, his secret dalliances, and his drug use.
People often run to religion when they need to make sense of chaos.
We never would have known who he was if he had actually been able to get some help...and that might have been a nice thing.
