Man, Bama got beat, no question. However, I think you'll see Bama down this year and next year..... and the next. Bama's QB is a 5th year senior, gone after this year. Next year will probably be the year for the Florida State transfer that was suppose to be so great. Then, he'll be gone. Then we'll have another new QB the 3rd year. I can't believe with all the 5 star QB's they have recruited over the years that they all turned out just average and can't win the starting QB job. Pitiful. Then we have the new hire Lane Kiffin. Now, he has generated massive yards since his arrival. But the thing I see that's killing Bama is the sloppy play at times. Penalties out the ass, dropped balls, hit and miss on offensive plays, can't get lined up right, etc. Under the last 2 offensive coaches these were not problems. Bama is beating themselves with stupid play. Saban won't put up with that for long. Especially turnovers.
So, I think Bama will be down for about 3 or 4 years pretty much because we won't have the same QB for more than a year for the next few seasons at least. I hate to say it, but Auburn may be the real deal again this year.

I'd have to say that both teams have recovered very nicely and are definitely the cream of the crop right now. Hopefully, they'll be playing each other on January 12th! Both Ohio State and Florida State have proven to be pesky though, the semi-finals should be really good games as well.
As much as I know Ohio State is full of a bunch of tossers, I'm glad they took the #4 spot away from both TCU and Baylor (and they did earn it). Now we don't have to hear about how one made it in and the other didn't.
FINALLY!!!! College Football has a playoff! LONG overdue. :)

If you read my previous post, you'll find out that I was wrong. ;D
I'll just say 2 things. Saban is probably the best coach in America right now..... playing against SEC teams. I'm not so sure he's that great against the northerners. A QB that can slow jog the ball gives him fits. And 1 more, his secondary sucks shit balls. They are great in run support but couldn't cover Archie Bunkers ole lady, Edith.
It should be a damn good game. I think our QB should have went to New York. I say this with a kind heart.... but I think Sims should have gone before Cooper, our receiver. Oh well, that shits fading away kinda. Not near a big deal as it use to be.
