Thought I would just document the current state of our studio pedal stock. It's a little nuts when I actually look at it.
This is the "box of gain". A bunch of gain pedals that currently have no home.
L > R, top > bottom:
Foxx fuzz/octave clone. There are two of these in this board, both use different transistors and sound different.
Joyo Ultimate Octave, which is a clone of some Fulltone box. Not as cool as the Foxx... we modded this to fix some of the design issues with the original fulltone.
Tech 21 XXL. Really loud and really distorted.
God Box DaVinci prototype. It's a tubescreamer with a mosfet boost.
Foxx Fuzz #2.
Marshall Shredmaster clone. I like this pedal but it's a little dark for me.
Death By Audio Soundwave Breakdown. I pull this out when I want to hurt people.
Boss FA-1 Fet Preamp clone. Nice sounding, has a baxandall tone stack.
Sobbat DB-01 Drivebreaker. Great pedal with DS-1, TS features, a buffer, and a two band gyrator EQ. I use my clone of this regularly (it's smaller).
Turbo Rat. It's a Rat... with more.

This pedalboard is currently ready to go but not tied to an amp. Often goes with the Silvertone, sometimes the Tweaker.
Hall of Fame Reverb.
Delayinator- a homemade PT2399 digital delay with modulation.
Uni-Vibe
Vox Wah
Vox Satchurator distortion pedal. I modded this because I hated it, and ended up with something I like enough to put on a pedal board.
Delta Pi, my homemade Big Muff Pi with switchable clipping in both clipper sections and several tone curves and tone stack defeat.
Mad Driver - a Joyo bufferless TubeScreamer.
This board usually goes with the HFS 1, which is homebuilt on a hammond reverb amp chassis, similar to a Marshall 18-watt with a unique bias scheme.
Vox Time Machine delay. Not the greatest sounding delay, but it has tap tempo and one of my buddies loves that time and feedback are on the outside, so you can adjust them with your feet.
Chorus pedal, I think this is a BYOC Boss CE-2 clone.
EH Worm, does autowah, trem, etc. None of the effects are great but they're all usable. The expression pedal is connected to this.
Clone of Skreddy Lunar Module. Kind of like just the fuzz you need for Gilmour tones, without going over the edge.
Mesa Recto clone with FETs... disturbingly crushing and high gain, but sometimes fun.
Stock Blues Driver. Totally great pedal.
Bass rig. This is a weird mix of crappy and nice pedals.
Behringer Ultra Bass Chorus. Personally I think these pedals are worth even less than their ridiculously low prices, but this one isn't broken yet so it's still here. I think this got stuck here because we moved the flanger pedal to another board. It's an okay bass chorus.
Phaser- homemade Maestro Stage Phaser clone. Awesome, awesome pedal.
EBS Bassiq- a fairly boutiquey envelope filter.
Bass Big Muff. A couple of guys love crushing their bass sound- this does that.
Behringer V-Tone something. This is a clone of the Tech 21 Sans Amp Bass Driver. Sounds pretty good. Hissy and cheap plastic and I don't expect it to last much longer.
Mad Bee, my Mad Professor Sweet Honey Overdrive clone. this is an "always on" pedal in the bass rig. Great crunch and punch.
Dunlop Bass Wah. It's not the greatest frequency range for a bass wah, but it does have foot activation, so all you have to do is press the pedal and it's on.
Harp rig. The harp mic goes into the A/B/Y pedal, and one channel goes into a BYOC triboost, then into a Joyo reverb pedal, then into an Epiphone Electar tube amp.
The other channel goes into a modded GuvnorII, into the EH Memory Man with Hazarai, then into a Mooer ShimVerb. That channel goes to a clean solid state Fender practice amp. Harp player gets wicked tones from this rig.
My Epiphone EVJ rig.
Signal flow is totally different from the layout. I plug into the black pedal, which is something called the AEFEA drive that I just made recently. It's a single opamp stage distortion with a pot in the clipping diode section to go from very soft to very hard clipping and a passive EQ. It's pretty darn cool.
Then into the XTC, my homemade Goosoniqueworx 7th Heaven clone, which is the schematic of the Bogner Ecstasy with FETs instead of tubes. Great pedal, my go-to for most of my gain sounds.
Into the Joyo Classic Flanger. I actually just added this last week and it probably won't stay long--this is a floating spot on my board. But I do like the Karate graphics.
Into the Flashback X4. This is a super useful delay, with lots of cool sounds. I prefer analog delay to this any day of the week for pure sound, but this is flexible and fits here (huge pedal).
Into the Cathedral Reverb, which is just a killer reverb pedal.
WOW! :o (Don't even know what else to say! ;D )
Still three more boards to go... and then the amps...
I have an ultimate octave... what did you fix on it? it sure needs something... like a totally different fuzz to go with the octave. fuzz pi style would be interesting... or something. I dunno, the octave is pretty good but kind meh otherwise.
and... I think, if you haven't tried one, you really should check out an EH tube Wiggler. it would be totally at home in the jams I've listened to from you guys.
finally, I find your lack of machine disturbing. ;)

Maybe just hasn't found anyone who can play one like you do! :)
Well, ironically, the ultimate octave is a clone of the Foxx Tone Machine. Fuller reversed some caps and changed the midpoint of the tone control, and sucked out some of the fatness out of the Foxx. There are two electrolytic caps that are reversed in the Fulltone version and in the Joyo version (the Joyo is a direct clone, mistakes and all). C9 and C15 are 10uf electrolytic caps that are reversed polarity, and they are in the signal path, so the sound is affected. In the fulltone, they are C8 and C9.
Fuller uses a different cap for the center frequency of the EQ, the Foxx uses a .047uf, Fuller uses a .1 uf, which changes the center point of the tone control and the fuzz. This is C3 on the Fulltone, replace the cap labeled 104 with a cap labeled 473. You can also change the caps on the switch to get different eq curves... I didn't do this.
The Foxx is not like a Big Muff--its much more abrasive and in your face.
This is the Sovtek board. My other "main" rig.
Memory Boy Deluxe- awesome analog delay pedal with tap tempo, subdivisions, insane feedback if you want it, etc.
Phase Royale, a clone of an MXR phaser with 4 or 6 stages selectable.
BJFe Honey Bee clone. An awesome boutique overdrive that is voiced toward the Valco/Supro sound.
Sobbat Drivebreaker clone. I use this instead of my real drive breaker because it's got switchable clipping (silicon/infrared diodes) and it's half the size of the original.
Fender '63 reverb pedal. Sounds like a Fender reverb. It's the best spring reverb pedal I've found. It only does one thing but does it very well.
"Tucker" switch - not used. When we swap amps to the HFS2, this pedal controls the gain boost function on the amp. We called it Tucker because usually there's another "Marshall" pedal to the left of it, that controls tremolo and reverb on the HFS2.
The last pedal is a homemade 8 ohm speaker attenuator. It's got two switches, on the right is -6dB, on the left is -12dB, and they can both be engaged for -18dB.

more pedals should have switches that say "huge" or "shred". heh, love that.
Yeah, you can't see it, but the other button says "tiny". That doesn't actually do anything though. And the Sobbat pedal says "Loud Punch" in Kanji.
You tryin to make Howie jealous????? ;D Is it working?????
Well, we've got probably 150 pedals, and no metalzones. So Howie probably won't be jealous.
Yeah, this is Howie's pedal board! :D
