I've heard some pretty good things about the Ethos.
Cool box. They are a little too proud of them for my budget though.
But, you know what, the price is much more in line with the number of features included for a boutique pedal. I've seen boutique pedals with less features run more...cough, cough...Klon Centaur...cough, cough...Pete Cornish...cough, cough... ;D
True Dearth. Price to features ratio is very good for the quality.
Better quality, fewer toys - should be my philosophy but almost $400 for one pedal is too rich for me right now.
OT - Satan Center had the Way Huge Pork Loin tagged @ $139 when I stopped by on my BD. Testing one at home and liking it so far.
That is a pretty cool little pedal. I've liked what I've heard so far.
The thing that caught my interest was the fact it will function as a preamp. Some of the demos were recorded direct from the pedal.
It also has a 1-1/2 watt power amp so you can actually drive a speaker with it. If I can sell off some of my equipment like the 2 EVM12L open back 1-12 cabs and 4 of my guitars I would think this pedal and a smaller amp with a 12" on board speaker like a Blues Jr.
