Chris, glad to have you as a mod here.  Since this is now a gear forum, guys feel free to ask questions about things you haven't heard or tried.  Chris and I both hang out at TGP and Chris works in a music store.  If one of us hasn't tried it, we've probably read some feedback from guys who have.  But Chris being on the inside, get's to talk to reps from the manufacturers and other things that most of us don't.  

He'll be a real asset here! He's also going to be my inside connection with Paul Rivera and hopefully get me some test sample amps to check out!  Maybe even an endorsement deal, if we can just sell him on the whole "silent recording is the next big thing" concept!  ;D

I don't know if Rivera would be into it, but I bet we could get the guys at Line6 to throw in a PocketPod for this endeavor... :D

Be cool if  Dearthian was be able to do guerilla recordings of kit - like an embedded journo.

Yea, ProGuitarShop.com has lots of GREAT demo videos of gear (a lot of boutique stuff).  Quality demos and good sound quality for internet stuff.

Chris, when you blow on that mouthpiece for the trombone, doesn't it tickle your lips?
