The Watering Hole

I pulled my 335 out the other day - it's been used maybe a dozen times, and the fucking thing is rusting.  All of the gold hardware is getting tarnished & even going green.

I took it to the shop where I bought it, and they are not allowed to wipe the guitars with the gold on it as it literally rubs the gold plating off.

I'm pulling my hair out.....  What do you do???!!!    Any suggestions??!!!

Oh so that's what this thread is about!  For some reason I thought it had something to do about your obsession with porn and Cheese-It's.

Yeah stay calm, it is only a guitar. It is not your health, it is not a loved fellow human, or loved animal that cannot be replaced, it is just a thing, easily replaced and the hardware is easily replaced as well. Gear is real great but it ain't that important in the larger scheme of life. Stay calm. That is my suggestion.

When I read the title of this thread, I thought it was about the tip of your dick since you're married ......
But if it's only your guitar, same thoughts as Harv's ones.... ;D ;D :P

TTBB, All of my guitars suffer this to one degree or another. I have very acidic sweat so it only takes a couple months of playing for it to start. It is a problem because I move guitars so often so my resale value is affected by the corrosion. Looking for a solution myself.
