All of you motherfuckers need to sell all your digital delay shit. I just went from a Boss DD-3 to the DMM and holy shizznit. This motherfucker is unreal!
It's like four pedals in one. You can get a great slap back reverb sound, Chorus, Vibrato, and Delay of course.
I've been puttin git through it's paces for the past week and I have never been happier. hell you can even turn all the effects off and use the level like a pre-amp! So fuck it's like 5 pedals in one!
This things is so lush and organic and can beautiful to trippy as fuck and everything in between. I never hear that click or "hit" like I did with the digital delay. Very very nice pedal. I'm goign to make you bitches some clips.....be back later.
shit....I gotta edit it down because it's a bit too large......I'll do that later....I gotta make some supper!
I've had a deluxe memory man for a couple of years now, IMO the best dely pedal out there, I use mine through the effects loops, I love the vibrato.
Congrats on the pedal, Matt. You've got me interested!
Alright I cut some good shit out....but let's see if THIS works.
nice demo motherfucker 8-)
The one thing it shows, (other than how great and versitile the DMM is), is how transparent it is to your sound.
At it's price point, it is a very killer pedal. Congrats.
If ya want to get into some Andy Timmons stuff, you'll need to get a 2nd one and run the 2nd on a slightly different delay time. Check out his gear video over at Mesa Boogie's site. He does some cool time things with 2 of them.
nice demo.. but sorry i can easily do that ending stuff on my digital delay. :D
Do not taunt the AxeFx. ;)
In best Rob Schneider voice, "You can do it Assman!!"
its actually pretty easy on the time machine. I just crank the feedback, hit a note and decrease delay time.
my recording setup is hosed right now because of vista 64 bit, so theres lots of clicks and pops and level is really low. but u get the idea. im hoping windows 7 fixes the problems with my tascam us144..
Damn man! There's a lot of clicks and pops in that sample and the level is really low! ;)
i hope windows 7 fixes that sheot.. or ill need a new audio interface.
hey i even landed my space ship at the end.
I can't understand why everyone has vista64. The OS is clearly unsupported... all the audio app writers have skipped it and are working on win7 drivers. I couldn't get anything to run on that shit in Bowling Green. That laptop makers keep throwing it onto boxes just shows how fucking stupid computer companies can be.

Nice samples, FB. I love knob tweaking on an analog delay pedal. Sounds really "warm" and "punchy" and all the other words we like to use to describe analog pedals.
BTW, all the line6 delay models can do ridiculous self-oscillation modulation like that. I've heard stuff way sicker than anything any analog pedal can do out of their lo-fi model... I've never tried the actual pedal, but it certainly does insane stuff in the Pod Farm software...
That was fucking hilarious man! ;D ;D ;D ;D Great demo bro, now I gotta go check one out! It really is warm and transparent. That last UFO part was the same thing they used on the song "Invader" off of Judas Priest Stained Class album, cool!
cgtrox 8-)
cgtrox — Jul 16, 2009 ... It really is warm and transparent. ...
LOL, sounds like my usual waitress at my favorite dart bar! :D ;D
And now for something a little heavier.
Had to cut this out the other day. This clip in no way does any justice to the sound in the room. I really need to learn how to record better and make things sound more present.
it actually sounds pretty good. One thing that makes heavy tracks sound better is double-tracking and panning them. But that tone is good. Not sure I love the delay on it.
BTW, you've totally inspired me to whip out my Boss DM-2... king of bizarre tweaking for analog pedals. I think that thing has 350 ms of delay... but it gets really nuts. Posting a clip this weekend.
Certain analog delays are really hard to get sounding good with higher gain (especially rhythm stuff). The delay sound you're getting sounds more reverbish than like a delay. Gain+verbish delay isn't the hottest combo IMHO (especially more rhythmic stuff; I don't really like using delay in this type of stuff). The converse is they sound great for cleaner stuff.
MXR Carbon Copy does a very respectable job for higher gain. The big kahuna is the Diamond Memory Lane 2. Amazing sounding pedal (though a little pricey ;) ).
I tend to prefer digital delays for gain. My Eventide Timefactor slays for delays with high gain. It's one of the few digital delays that can also hang with better analog pedals for cleans.

You are correct sir. More of a reverb thing goign on. I'm telling you though that it sounds WAY better in the room. I just can't get THAt sound on tape. I should rad a book but I'm too lazy.
AT any rate....I agree....on cleaner stuff it's the tits. I'm not really going for a delay sound as much as I am going for a fatter sound. The rate is so short that it acts almost like a doubler than anything else and with the feedback you get the verb tail.
sounded pretty cool to me- really liked the second take on the last post
Very nice sounding, lush and sweet tones out of that thing.
