So I have an Ibanez S that HAD a PAF Joe in the neck, a ProTrack in the middle and a FRED in the bridge.
I've been really curious about this AT-1 for a long time and I must say I threw it in last night and really really liked it. It's EQ'ed differently. Has a lot more highs but it's not ice picky at all. Less bass than the FRED. I think the treble is an 8 on a scale to 10. That's a lot more than most Dimarzio's.
It's a very clear and clean pick up. When you dirty it up there is still a lot of your tone in there. There is NO mush. Everything has space and definition. I'm really impressed with this pick up.
Gonna leave the PAF JOE in the neck. It's a really warm pick up and I love the balance it has with the AT-1. I like the ProTrack in the middle but I'm gonna get a Cruiser bridge and put it in the middle.
I would love to send you audio samples. BUT ever since we got the new computer the OLD shit I have doesn't connect to it. SOOOOOOOOO hopefully for Christmas Santa will get me something in a USB flavor to get recording again.
