The Watering Hole

Ok, so I wanted to record this again since I have dialed the sound closer since this, and my playing is kinda stiff, tuning is off , yada yada yada....  But I haven't had a chance and feel like posting it anyway.  It's weird playing this on a 7 string...

So I have a bit more gain and bass than the original, and a bit less highs.  But I think the character is there.

Sheep, if your bat hearing detects anything with the reverb, it's because I am using a demo version of Valhalla Room.  Holy crap is that one of the nicest verb plugs I've ever heard....

thanks!   I'm really pretty psyched about it.  It took a while to get it sounding right, I had to turn the internal presence trim all the way up, which reduces the presence (and that took me a while to figure out, lol) and I'm running it at 18 volts, which just opens it up.  Catalinbread compares 18 and 9 volts as running a 100 watt head versus a 50 watt head respectively.  Not sure about that, but I know it feels tighter and is definitely louder at 18.
