When my son started drum lessons last year I bought him an Alesis electronic kit. Whilst very good, he is at a stage now where the electronic kit really is holding him back owing to the lack of bounce and feel and all the other good stuff. So we need a real kit. The problem with a real kit has always been the amount of space needed for it, until I discovered the TRAPS acoustic kit (recommended by Oliver's drum teacher).
So I have just ordered this kit for him:

Absolutely amazing considering there are no shells.....freed at last from the lifeless feel of the electronic kit.
