This seems really cool.
Take a look at the manufacturers site http://www.evertune.com/

I'm getting GAS for this !
Sounds interesting, but what's with the frets on that demo-guy's guitar??? :o
Fack... Trem version slated for 2015 at the earliest! >:(
don't need it myself, my guitars stay in tune for any playing session that I do. I tune them once at the beginning and that is it till the next time I pick them up. None of my guitars have a whammy bar. Well my strat clone has one but I blocked it solid so it don't whammy no mo.
yeah, cool but no use for it here... I would like to build my own Tonehenge! heh.
I think this would be absolutely brilliant for playing "live", especially when high volume is involved. I have always tuned up by ear, never really needed an electronic tuner as my pitch is very good for tuning, however when playing live that ability diminishes as the set wears on, especially if the volume is very loud (which always is when I play live, got to get those trousers flapping in the speaker breeze). I can see that the evertune bridge would be fantastic for this as once you have set your tuning up on a set of strings you never need to worry about that ever again. Go through the entire set without having to tweak the strings at all....heaven.
Obviously, I think it would be great with a trem since those tone-suckers also cause you to lose your tuning pretty quick.
I still want to know what was up with those crooked frets on the demo-player's guitar...
I'll take the minor inconvenience of tuning the guitar every once in a while over spending $330 on something that looks... err... bizarre... most any day.

Hmm... I figured that was its use, but I'd never seen that system before. I think it would be interesting if they have clips of before and after.
My ears are not that exacting. I am happy if I can remember what key I am playing in. ;D
If I owned a Tele maybe. But no wang doodle bar? Not my style.
I've looked at this before. While admitting it shows promise, it is a bit expensive. I recognize the engineering behind it makes it cost more, but at that price it BETTER be perfect. Still, I'm selling some seriously good guitars that only cost about twice that amount with hardshell case, so clearly the market is limited for something this expensive.
It is cool. I'd have to dig a little deeper before I'd buy into it being "perfect" though. And at that price, it would have to be.
What they really need to do is make bridges that look like the real thing... if it looked like a Tele bridge or a Strat bridge I would find it more appealing. Wilkinson has made their bread and better on making bridges that look identical but function slightly better. And when they make something that varies from the typical bridge, it looks cooler, not weird. Very few people want alien hardware on their guitar.
