I have an opportunity to buy one of these for what I think is a pretty decent price, and I was wondering if any of you have any opinions on these.
Let me know.
I've played a couple of US ones and liked them but they are £1200 plus ($2400) over here.

Can't say about the Korean Hamers but the Korean and Chinese Ibanez Artists are pretty sweet and only about £300. With a decent set of pups bolted in they can be a good guitar.
I just picked up one like this for 240.00 us.

Decent guitar.  I put SD classic p90's in it (a little more routing for depth).  Plays great and sound very good.
This is what I'm looking to get.

The guy emailed me back after a week of silence, and said it was still available, and he would take $275 for it. I'm picking it up tomorrow.
A guy I used to jam with had a Hamer.  If I remember correctly it was a sweet axe.
used to work for UK distributor of Hamer when the Slammers were introduced... they were about the best made Korean guitars on the market back then.

but hey, things move on!

if they are still made at the same factory, they'll still be sweet :D

i have a Chaparral 5 String USA Bass (was made for Rick Savage, but was too plain for him when we took it to show him... he chose another one from stock with a UBER quilt and gold hardware)... again a pretty damn fine piece of the luthiers craft!

This is a Korean model, but NOT the Slammer model. Those have a bolt-on neck. This is set neck.
Pics?
I'm picking it up tomorrow (Saturday). I'll post pics sometime this weekend.
