The Watering Hole

Finally bought a new cab to go with the jca22h.  The amp straight into the cab (via hotplate) is very nasal and honky sounding. But, I am running the mxr  10 band graphic eq in the effects loop and boy oh boy does that make a huge massive difference.  Sounds really excellent in the room now and I'm guessing that t will record really nicely too.

An eq in the effects loop really is the secret weapon in making a cheap amp sound really nice.  Can't wait to do some jamming with my son this weekend. I will record with the h6 and see how this works out.

I have been thinking about grabbing one of those 10 band Graphic EQ's for my Super Champ X2, however it will have to go before the amps input between the guitar and amp as there is on EFX loop.
