When I first posted about my BYOC pedals on the Hole, I mentioned that my chorus sounded more like a tremelo than a chorus. Well, it just goes to show you that I obviously don't know squat about tone. I had misread the instructions and left a resistor out that is in fact the vibrato option. I'll learn these terms one day :-[ .
Anyhow, I just read on the BYOC forum about the different mods for this pedal and discovered my error. I added a toggle switch to allow for vibrato or chorus. I am now very satisfied with this pedal. The chorus is better than I was anticipating.
I only had a Les Paul type toggle switch lying around so I used it. This still gives me the other side of the poles to add another possible mod at a later time.
This makes me want to look at modding the overdrive pedal with the included parts for different tone characteristics.
