This completes my recent GAS. Just got a Boss Rc-3 looper pedal today. I didn't get it for the usual looping stuff, although that is great fun. I bought it for recording the guitar performance and then reamping it directly from the pedal for micing up etc. So I am now completely "mobile" for reamping and micing up duties using the Zoom H6 and then simply sync the Zoom recording in Reaper with my backing track. Had an hour session with it this evening and it really is fantastic.
The RC-3 has up to 3 hours continuous recording time so it's great for jamming at low volume and then reamping at high volume for recording when the neighbours are out etc, or even with a different amp at the rehearsal rooms etc.
This is just so convenient to use.
