The Watering Hole

I picked up a Lovepedal 200lbs fuzz off of ebay. Have had a good play with it. It's a great sounding fuzz pedal.
It's not over the top, just nice and gritty (fuzzy!!!), but cleans up nicely rolling back the guitar volume.

What I wanted was something with a little grit, but would give me that extra bit of sustain at  the same time, and this thing really delivers.
The "British" channel is a awsome thing, and I love the distortion, when you want to get down and play dirty it really delivers, I've tried a few different pedals with it, it makes it sound different, but not better, and I have yet to find a pedal I would use consistantly with it.

The "American" channel is a great clean amp, which will dirty up nicely, like most good clean sounding amps, but sometimes I want something between the American and the British. The American really takes a pedal well.

The lovepedal 200lbs, with the Fat and the Fuzz dials set around noon, and the American channel vol 3, trble 6, middle 5, bass 4, pres 3, focus 8, gives a really good Steely dan/Larry Carlton "Kid Charlemaine" lead tone style, I wouldn't say it nails it, and to be honest I'm not trying to, but it does give that vibe.

Hopefully after next week I will have a bit more time, (my job has been reclassified, and I have to fucking reapply >:( ), and I'll put up a few sound bites of the two BYOC pedal I've put together and the200lbs.

But first impressions, are really good pedal.
James,

I have a 200lbs as well.  I like that pedal a lot.
