One thing that really pisses me off is that Mesa DON'T have an Email contact address for spares support (Or any other enquiries for that matter).
SO....Could one of my U.S. brothers help me out please.
As you all know I'm selling my Roadking Combo. The problem I'm having is that it's a U.S. spec amp (I.E. 110V mains). I've been using it with a step-down transformer for the last 3 years with no issues. However, when it comes to selling things like this, the U.K public tend to go all huffy/puffy and shy away. So, I looked into having the power transformer swapped out for a 240Volt one.
My nearest Boogie service center wanted £400!! :o That's $642 folks
So...To my question. Would one of you good folk be willing to contact Mesa and get a price for a U.K spec power transformer for a MK1 Roadking Combo and let me know how much please?
If I can get one shipped to me for less than £200 ($320), It'll be worth it because nobody will bat an eyelid at me wanting £400 more for the amp than I'll get as it stands.
