Well, as many of you know I picked up a Mark V a few weeks ago.  I ultimately decided to part with the Roadster (I love the Mark V that much).

I ultimately traded it to a guy in Missouri for a 2001 Gibson SG Supreme in Emerald Burst.  It is definitely a player's piece (cosmetically rough here and there), but is in great playing shape.  It came with EMG's with the 18V mod (2 9v batteries).  I was originally going to rip out the EMG's, but the 18V mod on EMG's make these sound awesome and much more organic and less compressed.

Clips????  HAHAHAHAHA!!!  I practice silent recording!!

Another joins the gang!

Well, finally got it back from our repair tech.  He had to order pots.  For know, I dropped a Duncan JB in the bridge and a Jazz in the neck.  They'll do...for now.   ;)  Right now, it's much better (not into EMG's).  I slapped some Daddario 11's on it and took about 20 minutes to intonate it (the intonation on it was REALLY out).
no wonder!  Those things are set up for .08s!!!  If you are playing Black Sabbath tunes.    :)
It was already out with the 10's that were on it when I received it.  11's didn't make it any better.  Didn't affect my recording at all...HAHAHA!!!
you must use the same studio I do.   ;)
If you're recording Howie-style you could always laminate pictures of pickups on the guitar and save yourself some money!  ;) :D
Good luck with it amigo. Nice looking axe.

My SG a cheapo faded model has the nicest neck/action of any guitar I have ever owned.

Nice score, congrats.
