OK, I know this is a guitar website...but I just bought a new Keyboard amp.

Hey, there may be better out there....but I'm just a guitar player trying to learn keys as well.

I came home from 2 days in Aiken, S.C. and the wife had brought it into the living room.
What a wife!  :)
She thought it was my new guitar amp that I'm having built and I had to explain to her that I bought a new keyboard amp as well.
Gear, it's a dangerous bidness.  :D

Anyway, have any of you used this before or have a friend who has?

Here's what I'm running through it.

Roland Keyboard amps are pretty damn good.  I'm not a key player, but the boards we have running into it at the store sound really good through it (we have a Yamaha Motif crankin' into it).

Yeah....I almost bought the Roland subwoofer to go with it.
At the last moment I thought, hey, it's 180w and has a 15" speaker...I hold off and see how it sounds.

yeah, that's some pretty nice gear for someone who's not a keyboard player!

Good score Randy.  I have read good things about the KC line.  I bet that rascal is loud.

Probably plays at least as good as J*O_E&Y!!!   :D
Geez...one can only hope.  ;D

You have a Fantom?  What happened, did you find oil under that cemetery or something?  Shit, back when you were on the WH, you had one of the new Junos... the Fantom is a big leap up!
yep, like I said...pretty nice gear for someone who's not a keyboard player.   I wish I wasn't a bass player.   :) :)
He won the redneck lottery a while back.
He also got one of these .

and he's got his eye on this...a new mansion

:P
HAHAHAHa....good ones.  ;D

Hey Charger, I was ready to upgrade and had outgrown the little Juno-D

Roland was coming out with their new Fantom G series and were offering the Fantom X series at a greatly reduced price and a $200 rebate from Roland.
Hell, they're now only $1400 or so. Wish I'd waited.

Anyway, it's a killer keyboard in just one more tool in the arsenal.
Hey, it's not like I can really play keys, but I'm learning.  :D

Nice stuff Randy, but as they say this post ain't worth shit without sound clips.
yeah, come on Randy.  Let's hear your best Keith Emerson tunes.
Yep, hold yer breath.  ;D

For recording, I can work shit out.
But if I had to jam on keys...I'd be lost bigger'n shit.  ;D
