I've played the DT50 amps and they are amazing.
Here's the 25w head and cab...looks very cool.

I'd like to hear the amp by itself with an analog guitar, I guess I will have to wait until You Tube has some videos. Didn't even watch that video as soon as I saw the signal chain.
yeah, nobody has talked about it much here, but Dar has an DH500 and the DT50 He said the amp is AMAZING with the POD HD500. He said it can come incredibly close to any rig he has or has owned and he's had some good ones. This is really interesting!

lol, Harv...they used a Strat and a Les Paul for almost the entire video. ;D

My buddies music store down the road from me are the Mesa Boogie distributors in SAfrica, and the Line 6 distributors.
They have the entire range of Mesa's in the store, the Mesa "sim" on the DT50 sounds as good as the real Mesa's in the store. :)
But the DT50 is a heavy beast, this DT25 looks very cool, especially with the 1x12 cab.

They also do that in the part two of the video ( after 21:20). Pretty impressive tones in that setup.
Hmm, that's a pretty cool looking little amp. Might have to try one myself.
oh my god I have to have one....
....err, no I don't think so really ;D
This is the kind of amp Jon likes:

Gain, tone and volume. Simple! :D
no offense to the gear in question but just have to say, I HATE demo videos like this. STFU already and demo the damn amp!! gah, 40+ minutes of that bullshit?!?! no thanks.
here's the gold standard, in my book, for a gear demo: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LdSf6RhQY-I
not only do I have GAS for the pedal but I listen to the fricken demo over and over and over... righteous!
check that dude's video songs while you're at it, good god he's awesome.
I agree. That type of video demo is not a demo it's just a marketing trick. It's two guys from Andertons guitar store saying how great a new amp is....well of course they would say that, they want you to buy it from their shop online ;D

I got one offer from one guy on the Les Paul Guitar he wanted to trade a Orange Dual Terror and get an $800 credit towards the Les Paul. I turned him down because I want cash for the Paul. So I can but an amp of my choice, something lighter than the Hot Rod Deluxe, but still a 1-12 combo amp.
sheep, totally agree. I love his demos of EH stuff, and his split videos, with his... wife?

I think at some point they had a big commercial too.
And every lady gag cover should be this frioggin cool.

Also seriously dig Nataly's bass playing...
I think I saw her on a Target ad some time ago, maybe that was it?
she's great too!
I think this amp could be the missing link for many of us, who, along with our digital modeler, want to hear a real guitar speaker moving real air.
Dar was so excited about his that he actually told me I could sell my Budda SD 18 to buy one and would be happy with the choice once I had done it. I didn't want something that big, so I didn't even audition one. This one is interesting to me size and power-wise. We'll see about the price.

Jack and Nataly were both on Hyundai ads around Christmas last year (as Pomplamoose).
And weirdly enough, Toyota used their cover of "Mr. Sandman" for their Avalon ads shortly before that.

P.S. If I buy any DT series amp, it'd be the DT25. Probably not going to, but it definitely has me intrigued...

You mean to say that you would be prepared to sell a real amp and buy one of these just because someone else told you to ?
No, I told him that I didn't have the money for a DT50 and didn't have anything at the time that I was willing to sell to get that much money for the DT50. He said he thought that if I auditioned one, I'd be willing to sell my Budda SD18 to fund one. He thought that it was good enough that I'd be willing to give up one killer boutique amp to get an amp that could do MANY killer tones.
pretty interesting video, definitely had too much talking and goofy shit. The amp on its own sounded fairly good, the integration with the HD was fairly crazy... Wouldn't mind having it in person to try out. The variax stuff in part 3 was a let down I felt.
