The Watering Hole

Got an email from Sonic Research on Wednesday that the ST-122 is available again, ordered that evening and it arrived today.  I originally tried to get one at he beginning of December last year and had all but given up.

I got the black anodized case.  They are more expensive than the plastic version was but it looks and feels of very high quality.  Works well too.

I know, not as exciting as a new axe or amp, but I'm stoked to finally have an accurate tool for tuning and intonation etc...

My Korg has to be 29 or 30 years old so I was almost due.

After playing around all evening and morning with this I'm happy I was patient..  Lots of features I'll never need, but some that are amazing for the cost.

It's quick, easy to configure, use and see.  The mic picks up my acoustic without shoving it in the soundhole.  It finds and holds notes well.

Very nice!  Supposed to be the best one out there.  Congrats on a nice score.  I want one!  

Thanks Howie.  It is superb if you don't mind the spinning led format.  I was close to getting a Peterson, but I like the ST-122 much better (just personal preference.)
