Thanks guys, it certainly is a beautiful looking guitar, and In have to say it lives up to the hype. When I first opened the case, it really had that wow factor. I just plugged into the front of my amp, and to be truthful, at first I wasnt that impressed. It felt completely different to any LP I played, the neck was different, and the sound, I dont know what I was expecting, but it wasnt this. First impression was what have I just dropped all this money on. But as I played, I got it, and the guitar just opened up. There is a clarity and an openness from the pickups, when a chord is played it sound like you can hear each string, and it just rings and rings, the sustain from this guitar is a thing of beauty. Ive been playing it for hours on end, it really is that good, it just makes you want to play. Im no Gibson fanboy, but the custom shop has nailed this guitar. I would buy another one. It looks like my old AS200 may, after 35 years be relegated to 2nd best, (although I wouldnt say it in front of it).
