Or maybe it should be Gear Slut.  Not sure yet.   ;)

Triaxis rig went down the road in a trade for a 30 Watt Bogner Duende head.  I was really trying to snag a Shiva, but this one presented itself to me.

And I'm not disappointed.   :)

Cleans are wonderful, almost as good as those on my Badcat.  Lot's of color.  Lead channel is a nice crunchy channel that gets into hi-gain territory with a booster.

It's un-compressed like my Badcat was, but tighter like the Triaxis.  It covers a lot a ground with a turn of the knob and a click of the booster.

Only issue I ran into was it has only an 8 ohm out.  My current cab has 2 8 ohm speakers wired for 4 ohms.  I borrowed a Bogner Alchemist cab for a couple days to make sure I was going to keep the amp.  After confirming that I was, I disconnected one of the speakers in my 212 and am currently running it as a big 8 ohm 112.  Long term, I need to re-speaker and re-wire the cab.

DBM was the one guy who called me on the avatar change.  I wondered who'd catch it before I mentioned anything.  :)

My JMP was modded to allow other speaker possibilities, could your Bogner have the same operation?
Possibly, but I think I can pick up some used Scumbacks or Celestions for a reasonable price.
Chris,

I would say "congrats on the new amp."  However, that is getting to be like congratulating some young handsome rock star on his new hot girlfriend, when you know for a fact he'll have another new hottie in a couple months.   ;D ;D

Haven't heard much about the Duende.  But it's a Bogner.  So, I grudgingly say "congrats!"   ;)

Pimp daddy strikes again! Congrats...and what he ^ said, I have no clue about many amps, but whatever, its a Bogner!

I know, that's why I wasn't so quick to post it until I knew I was going to keep it for awhile.

I've had more time to think about it and it reminds me of a Badcat if it was Marshall based instead of Vox based.  Doesn't have quite as much gain on tap as the Hotcat (but a booster fixes that   ), but it is MUCH more usable across the whole range.  I found the gain on the Hotcat was almost unusable once it got past 1'oclock.  Bumping up the gain on the Hotcat changed the eq in a way not to my liking (on the Hotcat treble, bass, gain, and presence are highly interactive and one change can throw off the balance of the eq).  The Duende's eq doesn't change like that, so I'm quite comfortable moving the gain up and down for different things and not feeling like it needs to be re-eq'd.

I was actually trying to trade for a Shiva, but this thing seems to be right up my alley.

Anybody want to start a pool on how long I'll keep it?  I'd buy a couple spots for action on that.  That might be fun!! ;D
should we do an "over/under" or a "pick a date?"   :)
