OK, can I use this inline with my cab?

I needed a direct box for my rig. I got this one... http://pro-audio.musiciansfriend.com/product/Radial-JDI-MK3-Passive-Direct-Box?sku=153902 I read the manual and it says you CAN use it with a guitar cab but to use a parallel out from the cab. How do you make/wire a parallel out? I don't wanna blow this thing.

I thought it would be.... amp head-->direct box-->guitar cab

Directly in line with the speaker out to the cab. I was gonna get the Palmer PDI-09 but I like this one a little more. Any help would be greatly appreciated.... :)

I think if I just add a "parallel out" to my cab it should be OK. You know, like an add on cab from mine? Is a parallel out just two wires straight from one of the outs to a new 1/4" out? Also, would it change the ohmage output on the regular cab?
I talked to one guy who said as long as I use BOTH the -15 pad and the -30 pad together, (which is the way the manual says) I should be able to just put in "in line" out to the speaker cab. It is a passive box, no power.
