I'm just stunned beyond belief. :o I just got a piece of gear that has simply blown me away! No pics yet. I'll try to get some tonight.

"OMG!!!!" ?
I didn't realize that Ohio had Valley Girls.
charger#3 · Nov 16, 2010 17:52 UTC
I'm putting my money on a pedal that makes overdrive or distortion sounds...
evzevz#4 · Nov 16, 2010 20:11 UTC
Hmm, stunned beyond belief - that does not tell us if the gear is good or bad, actually...
evzevz#5 · Nov 16, 2010 20:11 UTC
Oh and I won't take charger's bet...
dearthian#6 · Nov 16, 2010 20:19 UTC
Does it have an extra 'orifice'? LOL
CraigB#7 · Nov 16, 2010 20:31 UTC
Maybe it's one of these??! :o :D
dearthian#8 · Nov 16, 2010 21:02 UTC
Nah, it's one of THESE!! lol
fingers#9 · Nov 16, 2010 21:10 UTC
might not be guitar related,
could be the latest in leather gear. ;D
DreamTheaterRules#10 · Nov 16, 2010 22:35 UTC
LOL, it's definitely gear. It's the most wonderful instrument I have ever played.. Wow, what an instrument! The pickups are spectacular. The feel and tone are amazing. You guys wonder why I sometimes brag about my wife. (and yes, it was my 50th birthday present).
Here it is, but mine is sapphire blue smokeburst with a 10s top.
Clearly, this thing deserves a Budda Superdrive 18! ;)

p.s. Getting old ain't as bad as I thought! ;D (til the arthritis sets in and I can't play this anymore)
dearthian#12 · Nov 16, 2010 22:57 UTC
Sweet man!! Anything hollow or semi-hollow by PRS are amazing, especially clean tones. Congrats!!!
Kabala#13 · Nov 16, 2010 23:42 UTC
Congrats! Lucky bastid! You must have a helluva little lady to do that. Toss up the pix when you take some (the guitar, not the wife, I heard those were already posted a long time ago ;)).
charger#14 · Nov 16, 2010 23:48 UTC
I'd prefer pics of the wife...
Guitars are cool, but women... aren't they the reason we start playing guitars?
Kabala#15 · Nov 17, 2010 00:03 UTC
True. I should rephrase that then....the wife pictures can already be found (Craig probably has them on a hard drive somewhere), the new axe wants to be seen (or better yet, heard).
desertbluesman#16 · Nov 17, 2010 00:07 UTC
Congrads amigo, good luck with the new instrument.
CraigB#17 · Nov 17, 2010 08:29 UTC
Nah, can't bomb Howie with bad pics of his wife on his big day. ;)
But I will say that his new guitar is really, really gorgeous!
Congrats! (And happy birthday. :) )
DreamTheaterRules#18 · Nov 17, 2010 16:02 UTC
Thanks. I know how lucky I am. I'll get some pics of one or the other up by this weekend. ;)
