Does anyone here know if they have updated this yet to include alternate tunings in poly mode ? (ie DADGAG etc)
Thinking about it, this would be a tall order as alternate tunings often have more than one string tuned to the same pitch. Anyway, still great as it is for standard tuning....just ordered one :)
It arrived today. What a fantastically brilliant little gadget.
Does it do any drops or even 1/2 step and whole step down tunings?
It does 1/2 steps down tuning, so you could set it for Eb for example. I believe there is a software update for drop D tuning (it has a USB port) but it does not do any alternate tuning, which is a shame but not the end of the world. I just alternate tunings quite a bit as I do like to play slide (whether slide likes me or not is another matter). Just makes things so quick !
Got it on my iPhone... for free... now it's $10. I agree, it's a fantastic tuner.
