I can't believe how expensive pedals are these days.  Take a look at this one, most expensive I've seen yet.

£312 thats $471 for a distortion pedal  :o  Someone is having a laugh surely.
Try getting your hands on a Chandler Over drive or a BK Butler one.  Very expensive also.

Try getting your hands on a Klon Centar.  Ridiculous.....especially if you want a gold box one.
You can always request a build from me, I charge BertCavers parts + a variable percentage depending on the difficulty...  I'm actually working on FB's Klon build right now... with a switchable input buffer...

Zvex is very very expensive, mostly because they are hand-painted.  With my builds you get a custom powdercoat...

I will bear that in mind, really don't like paying amp prices for a pedal.  One thing, when do you get the time to build all your pedals? I used to be into electronics construction years ago but gave up when I started wearing glasses but just wouldn't have the free time now.
I can answer that.  Charger never sleeps!

That's why I gave up on building pedals and amps.  I'd love to do it but most days I only have 30-60 minutes for music, and I'd rather play that build gear.
I've just gotten into the fun of changing pickups myself...  I bet building stuff is a real blast...
I work for a couple hours a week on it, maybe three nights a week I will work for two or three hours, and then I'll powdercoat on some random day.  It helps that my whole family goes to bed at 9 PM, and I'm a night owl, and also that my 5 year old daughter loves to help with powder coating.  I usually try to have something ready to test by Thursday night when we have our weekly jam, so I can see what it really sounds like.
