The Watering Hole

I played one of these a while back.  I really liked the thing and thought I would pick one up used.  Man are they hard to find used around the cost of the peal new!  Last night I missed one that went for $255.  I am giving up ... 3 moths wait is not too bad I guess.
Find me a schematic and I'll build you one ;D.
A guy is selling a ScrewDriver for $215 over at The Gear Page.  Looks like it might still be available.

you should have the schematic.  It's the one also titled "Big Muff."  Now, if you can just figure out all the magic tricks and part that have been chosen after years of testing....

Skreddy pedals are VERY highly regarded, very highly sought after (yes, Dale often more used than new because there is a wait list for most) and also MOST of them are based on the Big Muff.  Funny, how different one sounds from another, yet they are all tweaked Muff circuits...

If you really want to clone one, you'd have to have gut shots, detailed enough to allow you to figure out every part in it.
Of course, if you add cranberry it becomes a Madras...  ;)
The Skreddy pedal I've heard online that I dug was the Mayo.  Too bad it's discontinued (and, used, it's around $350).  :(

This one is not a typical muff.  It is a mofset coupled with a treble booster with tweaks in one box.

If I had one I would let you!  Want to finish my Thunderchief for me?  How much you charge?
I have his Top Fuel and love it.  It is not what he considers a muff either.  The Mayo was the the muff tweaked really.  It was the area where he made his name as I recall.  The Lunar Module may be of interest as well though ... and I think that is the new Mayo-Pink Flesh muff tweaked a bit.  I like my Little Big Muff a lot but these are not in the same game that is for sure!

Well, $375 for the super muff if you want one ...

I didn't want it THAT bad... ;)

Glad I was able to possibly hook you up with the ScrewDriver!!  Let me know if it works out!!
I have the Screwdriver coming from Skreddy.  I was too slow there... but I did pick up the Lunar Module while I was there.
SWEET! :)
Skreddy, Tonefactor (Mojo Hand now) and Keeley just have no equals for me these days.  I just love their stuff!
yep, I had my models confused.  The Screwdriver isn't a Muff derivative, but the Mayo and several others are.
