Trying to sell a guitar and amp but the Craigslist market is pretty much flooded in Atlanta right now so I am not getting a lot of interest. Is there anywhere else you would recommend trying? I'll do Ebay if I have to but I am really trying to avoid it.
The Gear Page is a great place to sell HUGE market of musicians only. But you have to be a supporting member to list things there. I sell stuff there all the time.
I just sold my Les Paul Custom through Craigslist. I did not get what I wanted, but because of the serial number issue, I had to let it go for $500 less than I was asking. Anyways I never liked that guitar from day one. So it is gone and forgotten. I did get most of what I had in it however. So everyone won a little victory. I dumped the guitar, and got about 95% of the money I had in it. And he got it cheap.
I hear ya... I'm trying to sell an Access Virus Rack synth unit and I'm only getting a ton of view and double-digit watchers, but no buyers (it's priced below a unit that recently went on a Buy It Now). I need it to pay one bill from last month plus a couple for this month and then, if there's anything left, get some food to eat... ::)
