well, I was thinking about getting a big muff with tone wicker... but this is very interesting. twice the price is not so nice, though. ;)
(price is bugging me because, well, I'm a frugal sob and... I have a serious case of germino club 40 GAS that I'm trying to deal with. any potential music funds are getting mentally put in that jar right now)

I can just hear the Sheep magic with that pedal. Many fuzz pedals mush out with humbuckers and this demo was with a LP. I thought it sounded great. Word of warning though for DIY. The trannies are everything in fuzz pedals. well, not everything, but WOW do they make a huge difference. I had a BYOC ESV fuzz and wasn't in love with it. The night I sold it I swapped a couple old germs I had in it and it was a "no way I'd sell this" moment. But it was too late. And good germaniums are expensive.
