Looks like recession selling is hitting ebay

I'm going to check into this one tomorrow myself, this shop is only 20 min south of me, never been there before but while reading specs at the Splawn Amps site (and looking for dealers), I see that this guy is the lone Atlanta dealer - course he has no Splawn in stock, lol, but the JCM 800 (2205) looks interesting....if it cooks, I'll certainly gnaw on that price....hey, he's gotta be feeling the economic crunch, same as everybody, no?  ;)

You got that right...  I've seen several quality pieces that I watch on Ebay (Fulltone Clyde Deluxe, Dr. Z Carmen Ghia, Rivera Chubster, etc ETC.!) go cheaper recently than I have ever seen.  You can always write off the "fluke sale."  But I'm seeing almost everything I watch going for MUCH less than normal prices.  Sure wish I had my usual "gear stash."   ::)
