The Kemper will soon become an Amp...the Poweramp version Prototype is finished, and there'll also be a poweramp mod for existing KPAs.

At this time Jon pipes in to let us know how he hates the design and how he returned his KPA because it's a POS that's full of bugs and how his software that he designs has never had a bug.

Why is it, looks like, 7 rack spaces high?  A solid state power amp should be pretty compact.

Lance, don't quote shit that isn't true.  I never said that my software never has bugs, I said that I do not release it to the customer with bugs.

And yes it is a fucking ugly piece of equipment. I said that before I bought it, and nothing has changed.  It IS fucking ugly !

I really intensely dislike the "fanboy" attitude that a very small number of vocal posters over at the kemper forum have introduced. It's childish and counter productive.....  infantile in fact, goes back to the "my dad's bigger than yours" etc etc.   ::)   If something isn't right, especially when a load of money has been spent on it, those very valid concerns should be acted upon not ridiculed.

Yes it "fist" very well.  BTW, I asked because the prototype image doesn't look like the actual Kemper... there's no space for the power amp, it's just one big panel...

Who are these fanboys, what is it they've said that's disturbed you so much?

Every guitarist I know is a fanboy of one or other of the products they own...nothing wrong with it, it's normal behaviour for a guitarist.
