The Watering Hole

I just got my Gaudy Paul guitar back after having the Sustainer removed, putting better pickups in and adding TONS of new tone options.  The new pickups are all from Bare Knuckle Pickups (a Rebel Yell humbucker and two Sultan single coils).  It looks so much better now and sounds wonderful (don't ask, it will still be a while until I can record anything ;) ).

To replace the knob and two switches that the Sustainer used, I added a Fat-O for Fatties tone knob along and bought new switches.

To see the madness, check out the links below.  The last one is a .pdf I made today that is going to become a two-side laminate so I can use it as a reference.

I remember when Jeff Miller was building the gaudy beast.  Which sustainer was in it?

Assman's going to buy it from me for a lot less than half of what I paid.  It just wasn't meant for this guitar!
The Fernandes sustainer rox.  I got see Reeves Gabrels use his many times in a lil club here.  Gotta get one someday fo sho.
Very nice retrofit.  You have got gobs of options there now.  I wonder if it took more time for you to construct that chart than it took for your tech to make the modifications :) .
The guy who makes the Fat-O for Fatties switches (Deaf Eddie) rocks.  He made me an unbelievably detailed .pdf to give to my tech that showed, in color(!), everything that needed to be done.  Here's his website.

Shit Craig, you'll be flipping switches for an hour before you come full circle...the sheep will fall asleep. :D :D
