Telecaster — The Watering Hole

I just ordered my son a telecaster. As he is now nearly 12 he has suddenly aquiring GAS via my wallett!

I'm looking forward to giving it a whirl myslef when it arrives.

Just arrived. Had a quick play with it (unplugged). Very nice low/fast action. A very playable guitar. No time to fire up the amp tonight but I'll give it a go tomorrow.

It's a squire, so nearly a fender, standard model single coils. Just love the bridge twangy spanky pickup, really nice. With case approx 350 dollars

My turn next . Having my les paul rewired to the jimmy page spec with all the coil taps etc. Goes in for the work tomorrow and new pickups. :-)

Hey Jon. You want a killer Tele....See if you can find a Levinson (I know, I know.........) These things are to die for and because everyone wanted the R4H Strat....The Levinson Tele got overlooked so you can still find them cheap.

I saw a '98 model, Brand new! in Kingfisher music (Fleet, Hants) a few weeks ago for £275 Just to clear it. Honeyburst Swampash with a Flame Maple one-piece neck and full VSC electronics!!! :o. The thing was over £1K in its day.

I actually rang a friend to see if he could front me the money and let me pay him back the following month but the bugger was working abroad ::) >:(.

Hunt one down and try it....I promise, you'll never look at another Fender!
