Hey Fuckers. I got my tele back today, texas specials, 4-way switch (1.Bridge 2. Bridge + neck parallel 3. Neck 4. Bridge + neck series), sperzel locking machine heads, new saddle, bridge with brass saddles, new socket, 300k pots and complete rewiring, and it is the fucking bees knees. The series option is worth the price of admission by itself. I've been playing with it for about two hours and I am all smiles. It has completely changed the tone of the tele from good to "get the fuck out of here"  ;D
I will try to post clips, but given my previous attempts at mic-ing my amp don't hold your breath. :-[
Cool James.  I've heard more than one glowing review of the series mod for a Tele.  Can't wait to hear it.
Hey guys,
I am looking to buy an MIM Fender Tele next month, what is this series mod you speak of? I've heard about it, can you break it down for me?? Also, what pickups are good for an upgrade? I was looking at the Fender Noiseless SCN??

Pickups wired in series, the wiring, (and signal) goes from one pickup to the next, in parallel, (which is the standard wiring), it goes through both at the same time. The series sound is a lot fatter than parallel, and the output is a bit more. A 4-way switch allows you to have both.

I've put texas special in my strat, the output is a bit hotter than and they distort a little bit earlier, but they do clean up nicely.

I put a clip of my tele after the upgrade here: http://www.chargermusic.com/wh/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1252132857
