I've just brought these

to put in this

should be sweet. 8-)

T Specials have lots of balls for singles.  You like!!! :D
Let us know how you like them.
Best of luck with them...

I had a set in a strat of mine and found them to be very muddy i nthe lows and piercing in the highs.

But every guitar is different so it might be just the ticket for that gtr.
Pay a little extra and get an entire pickguard assembly as well (which means you'll get extra pots and another 5-way switch too).  Then you can completely swap between the setups with only a little bit of work like a string change and some screwdriver use.

You can do that and more without having to change your strings or use any screwdriver.... It's called a Variax...
Put a set of those in my H1 strat . I like them for the most part except for the neck p/u.
I switched out the neck p/u for a vintage 60. Bridge and middle are still the tex xpecials.
I do have to agree with Richard on this one.
But you might be satisfied with the sound , depending on your setup.
Cin, nice....so are you going SSS?

That's the only way I'd have a Strat..in my opinion that is.  :D

Let us know how you like those bad boys.

I changed pups in both of my Strats.
Best thing I ever did for them.

Congrats....

Randy
yeah, SSS. I've never liked these HB's they have always sounded like a wet blanket has been put over the guitar. The singles are not too bad, but I think these pups will be a lot better.
I really love this guitar, it has the nicest neck I've ever played, really well finished and set up. I don't think I will ever find a "strat" that plays as well as this, and changing pups is a cheaper way of changing guitar.
I have them in the center strat clone

I like them fine.  I have the second tone wired to the bridge though and not the middle.  The left one has the vintage noiseless.
Doc likes them sparkly pick-guards doesn't he?  :D

Nice "family" there Doc!  :)
:D  Yeah ...
Damn, those are three sweet looking guitars 8-) 8-) 8-)
All home tweaks of one sort or another.  Center is a Might Mite Body & neck with Warmoth Guard, solid heavy brass bridge block.  HH on right is a mexi strat body with a USA neck.  HH has APII neck and Anderson bridge as I recall in warmoth guard. The black HH strat has a steel bridge Callaham block.  Other is a Route 101 with a Warmoth neck (24.5), fender vintage noiseless.  Of the strat singles I have had the TS have been the ones I like the best, but they are hard to ajust and do not play well with all amps.  Especially bright amps.
Finally got my slack arse into gear and sent my guitar to be refitted last week, got it back today.

I'm absolutely delighted with how it has turned out. Sounds/plays fantastic so far, although I haven't had a chance to really crank it yet, maybe tomorrow.
The guitar tech had to make the pickguard from scratch, as a standard strat one wouldn't fit, (I didn't want old screw holes showing). He used/recommended 300K pots,  with the texas specials, because of their higher output, an idea he told me he stole from Eric Johnson. He also polished the frets, adjusted the truss rod, intonation, tightened up the machine heads.
It's great knowing a guitar tech who really knows his stuff.
let us know how you like them when you get more time playing them.

The guitar is looking good!
im working on a warmoth strat right now.

"ho ho ho, Green Giant"
:)
Kinda reminds me of a gherkin
Well it's a start  :P Any specs you thinking of for the build?

I've had a good play with the Blazer over the last two days, and it sounds great. I've got the next couple of days off, and no one will be home so I'll record something over that time. First impression.. the texas specials were a great choice. ;D ;D ;D
That guitar needs a Gumby sticker on it Assman!  :D

yeah, I have these in a strat and love the way they sound! -- they're kinda noisy (susceptible to in room interference etc) but have great tone - particularly with 11s (tuned down either a half or full step).
Hey Cin....Great looking guitar---------BAD looking 'sixties' style lamp shade relected in the first shot  :o :P
