A motherfucking Wurlitzer Drop action spinet PIANO.

IT was my grandmothers piano and man I feel complete now.

IT's so strange.  I was scared to death of piano's for a bunch of stupid reasons.  A few months back I heard a former student of mine playing piano with a guy that has an amazing voice.  I loved the song so much that I told myself I simply MUST learn THAT song on piano.  Taught it too myself in a day!

I have NO training on a piano.  For all I know I am doing everything T-totally wrong.  But man I just love coming home and seeing what happens.  I've been writing music like crazy.  It's opened up a whole new world for me.

I'm a complete hack at it....but man....I can't believe how satisfying playing this thing is to me.  IT's my new drug of choice for the moment.
I wish I'd never given it up.  At the time, I wanted to learn guitar and quit caring about it.  10 years later I realized I could have done both, and how cool that would have been.
No doubt.  When we bought the new house, I got a Gulbransen upright grand.  It sounds so huge and wonderful... I play piano way more than I play guitar, at least when I'm at home.
A bunch of budding Lennon/McCartney types.

Cool FB hope you have a great time with it.

If I had it to do over again, it would be keys for me too. If you ever listen to any of my songs they all feature piano very well. Of course I program the piano parts in but I love the piano sound, so I compromise with MIDI generated parts and render them with samples just to get that sound in there.
