The Muff I scored a few days ago landed. Man, this thing is built like a fucking tank!!! It's heavier than three normal size pedals.
It is definitely tuned a little differently than my Skreddys. It has more bottom, and it tends to hit harder in the lower mids where the Skreddy's tend to have a slight push in the upper mids. The tone knob on the Russky doesn't behave quite so radically as the Skreddys. The Skreddys can really cut when you push the tone. With my Beano Boost in front, it tightens up but is a little darker than the Skreddys. Overall, the Russky tends to have a little more sponginess.
Howie, I don't know if it's necessarily better as it is different. It's definitely not a step backwards.
I'm working on an interesting trade for the ?Lady. I'll let you know if it pans out. ;) Update: ?Lady and Lovepedal White Dragon (picked it up in a trade that also included some NOS 12ax7's) traded for a Zendrive and a BMOD CJOD (Clay Jones OD clone). SCORE!! The BMOD is #1 of 50. Mwahahahaha!! Maybe you're right; maybe I should be renamed Dearthian: The Pedalgeek...nah. :D
