Pretty good price as well. £65-£75 new against £150+ for a S/H Peterson.

US Looks like MRRP of $149. Which seems a bit steep as £75 = $111.75 as of today but then with US import duty and extra shipping costs.....
Another tuner that get's a lot of good press is the Korg Pitchblack.  I like Korg tuners in general.  Very accurate.

Haven't tried the TC.  Looks interesting

Peterson's are awesome, especially when you go to set the intonation on a guitar.
The Pitchblack is rated vary highly.  The Sonic Research pedal tuner is rated even higher but is a bit more cash.  Both WAY less than the Petersons and .... according to popular opinion at TGP, even better.  The new TC looks extremely cool, strum a chord and tune, not one note at a time.  Not much feedback yet to see if it lives up to it's promise, but the gearhounds at TGP will have a good bit of info on it before long.
Of course, my iPhone tuner app (cleartune) cost $3.99...

In the US it's $99.
Nice...  I've been wanting a new tuner, good to see some strobe options other than the insanely priced petersen...

Not really big on the multi string tc thing - not like I can turn multiple pegs at once, plus my bridges are all floating, so moving one string changes all the others anyway...

But that Sonic Research looks sweet...
the peterson strobe tuner app on the iPhone is also cheap... I think it's $10.  My buddy's got both, we always use Cleartune.  It's super easy and accurate.
I'm on the email 'list' for a Sonic Research ST-122.  Probably be May before the new molds are ready and they start shipping again but I will wait.

They will have an aluminum case like the pedal version.
Paul,

Before this TC came out the Sonic Research was supposed to be THE best, with the Korg Pitchblack a close second.  FWIW, the new TC will function like a regular tuner as well (one note at a time).
Who needs to tune?  I play RAWK!!!!  :D

(Just kidding - I'm quite happy with my Korg DTR-2000 and Peterson stomp, but the easiest to use is my RoboTuner!  :)   )

Craig,

Screw a robotune.  Just get a Gibson Robo-Les Paul.  It tunes itself.   ;D
The roboplayer would be quite a contraption
I bought guitartoolkit on the iPhone
tuner, metrenome, chord/scale charts and reverse
name the chords type function
£6 - $10
It's pretty cool

I think the whole point about the TC is that in a live situation, you can just strum all 6/7 strings and at a glance see if any are sharp or flat. As soon as you play said OOT string, the unit automatically reverts to single string mode for accurate tuning of any strings then reverts back to 'poly' mode when you switch it off.

Like say....For a gigging player, thats got to be worth the money!

Good point about floating trems though.
