Ideal for Tube amp > THDHotplate > Lineout

and you can load your own IR's in it too. Worth a punt !
looks pretty cool.  Plus, if it had a few more lights on it, it would be a great match for the Kemper!   :)
A bit pricey but i've been thinking about something like this for a while now.  I don't need one, but it just seems to make so much sense as a product.  Except for charger of course.  :D

Good one.

My buddy Joe is actually making a pedal-sized box that will do impulse modeling, allow you to load impulses, etc. I keep telling him he needs to productize it.  Of course, he keeps getting distracted by old amps he buys on ebay and remodels...

yeah I think that product would be a win.  As long as there's a big ass sticker on it telling the masses to make sure their amp is still connected to a load...
P.S.  Was wondering when you'd see that jab.   ;)
It sounds pretty damn cool to me. My instinct of course would be to load up a fender spring and stick it in the fx loop of the tweaker. But it could do anything-- cabs, rooms, whatever. Sounds totally useful to me... Will see if he ever gets there.
Wow that's a great point - a verb pedal with your favorite places in it.  Pretty versatile..
By the way, have you tried the torpedo cabs VST?   This is rather good and there is also a free version of it with just one cab. Worth a look.

Charger, that's really interesting.  I thought about that a while back while reading something at TGP.  (There might already be a device like that or something that sparked my interest).

Wondering what kind of price something like that could be marketed for....
Unfortunately, as a one-off, it's not cheap.  Joe has put in at least $150 already, not to mention hours and hours of his time, and his time is worth pretty good money.
Do you mean just in parts?
Yep.

It will be much cheaper in parts mass produced... at the high end something like that would probably cost $40 max.  But he had to try different USB controllers, chips, etc, and nothing component-wise is cheap when you buy just one.
Yeah, I was wondering how much the economies of scale would influence that.  Those numbers look promising.
