It's not as expensive as the GigRigs, but they are smaller than the GigRigs but a little more advanced than the Carl Martin units.  You can actually link two of them.

Make sure you watch the video and see the demo of the wah-plate.  VERY slick.
slick.  how much $?
$499 street.
yeah, figured it was pricey.
Yeah, but that's almost 1/2 the price of a comparably equipped GigRig and it actually does a couple of things the GigRig doesn't.  The fact it will change amp functions, along with effect loops, and midi funcitions makes it an extremely useful little device.
yeah, if you do TONS of different things.  Personally, for me, I think one of the strip loopers with 4-5 loops can do most anything I'd ever need.  Not gigging, I'd want to set up some loops and be done with it.  Such as, a "Jimi" loop (Wah,fuzz, vibe) an Eddie loop (BSIAB2, phaser, flanger) etc.  Or, do things like, since I actually like to change character for solos, rather than a boost, I'd like to kick on an OD, Delay, chorus or whatever all with one switch, for solos.  Set them all in a loop and just hit one switch.
Or you could buy four of these and control most of your Metal Zones!  :D ;D
4x$499... hmmmm,   to control all of my Metal Zones....   something to consider.  NOT!   :)

This thing is very cool.  No way I could justify the cost.  Unless of course, ALL of my Metal Zones were Keeley modified!   :P
Hell you don't need anything like that when you run with all of them on at once!!!
Amen brother!
