One of my buddies I work with pulled the trigger on one of these and I can't wait to try it.  The ground it covers I find interesting.  To bad it's a limited run.

That looks awesome! I remember reading a TGP thread on that but had not seen pictures until now. I hope they add some sound samples soon. Let us know what your friend thinks of it. Thanks!
I bet it kicks butt!  man, only 100!  These will be $500 on the used market in a few months  :(
I'm VERY interested in it.  If it does Recto decently, I may pick up a nicer amp (like a Bad Cat or Rivera) and use this for heavy stuff (as long as the supply lasts).
I've been hearing some early review over at TGP about the pedal.  In the thread I started, 2 hated it and one loved it.  But the description the 1 who loved gave makes me think this pedal is what I'm looking for.  I'm looking for a pedal that does Mesa-type distortion.  Why?  So I can sell the Boogie and get a nicer amp that isn't necessarily a 'fire-breather' by nature.  Either a Bad Cat (either Hot Cat or Wild Cat) or Rivera (either Fandango or Venus 6).

The only other option along these lines  is get the stuff to build a Dr. Boogie.  I don't see that happening.  I'm not a builder by nature (wiring pickups in a guitar is the extent of my abilities).  Nor do I really have the workspace to do so.

Must wait till buddy's pedal comes in...   :D

A year ago, I was about the same Chris. Swap a pickup or a busted switch and that was it. I also now don't have the workspace, so the kitchen table is it for me.

Chris, have you tried a Tube Zone?  Or is even MI Audio beneath you now?   :)
Sniff, sniff...huh?  Did you say something? :D

But seriously folks...

I've heard clips of the Tube Zone and it isn't quite what I'm wanting.  I'm wanting basically a Boogie in a box.

Just got off the phone with my buddy who got the ProValve.  He gave it two SOLID thumbs up (he just got it earlier today).  The  A side reminds him of the Lovepedal Plexi 800 pedal (agressive Plexi).  He said the B side took on a character more like a Bogner Uberschall.  It didn't have the low-mid hump of the Boogies.

He said it was the best sounding pedal trying to sound like a tube amp he's tried (and he's tried my KOTB).
