The Watering Hole

Well, I sold the truck and had all this money to buy myself a toy.  I have long wanted a either the BB or the BB+ and just couldn't make up my mind on which one to get.  I think they both sound amazing and I could probably get away with using my Fulldrive II with the BB if I even needed to do that.  In the end, there has always been something about me and flexible gear so I said FUCK IT.....and bought the BB+.

If all goes well I'll be selling off the OCD.  At this point I have too many dirt boxes on the board.  

1.  Klon Clone.....I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE this pedal.  I can't part with it.  Plus it was made all special like by brother charger.
2.  Full-Drive 2....My love for this pedal is deep.  It does so many thing so well and just sounds amazing to me.  Most flexible piece of kit I have ever had.  BUT this BB+ could take it's place along with the OCD.  I tend to use both pedals at the same time.
3.  OCD...Great pedal.  I run it at 18 volts....like the fulldrive....It's nice but the BB+ sounds more organic to me.  
4.  Big Muff w/Tonewicker...it's the only Fuzz box I've ever liked.  Hell I love this thing.  It can be woolly or liquidy.  Very flexible pedal.

I already took the FAT BOOST off the board ages ago.  Cool pedal but I don't need it.

IF this BB+ kicks as much ass as I am hoping I might not have a single piece of Fulltone gear left.  SCARY.  NEVER thought I'd be in that position.

Haven't gotten the damn thing yet.  Should get it in the next couple of days.  

OH wow.  This pedal is the shit.  I can cover a lot of ground with this thing.  And Soooooooo organic.

What's the difference between the BB and the BB+?  I built a BB but modded the crap out of it so it would handle the low end of a bass.

Dave, too bad you don't know anyone who could build something like an OCD for way cheaper than you can probably find it in HI...

Congrats! +1 on the clips. I had the original BB (no mid control) and remember liking it, was a smooth sounding pedal, slightly compressed but great for solo boosting.

I love this pedal.  Was torn between it and the BB.  

I still haven't made up my mind on the OCD.  It's a great pedal, but I honestly don't use it that much.  Which is why I should dump it.  But I never know when the mood will strike me to use it again.

Tell you what....since you asked....if I do part with it....you get first dibs.

BB+ is like two pedals in one.  I think of it as a hot rodded Fulldrive II.  

There is an A and a B side.  There is a push button that allows you to run A->B or B->A  

There is a compression button on both channels, not found on the BB

3 band EQ on the B side plus volume and gain. The A side is a volume and gain and a tone.

The BB is a 4 knobber but I can't remember all the labels for that one.

I like it a lot.  It does what I need it to do the way I like it.

I'd love to do clips.  My computer died a long time ago and when we got the new one the recording shit I had didn't work with it.  So no can do on the record now.  Recording gear isn't in the budget at the moment.  I need to sell some shit.  I just can't decide what that shit is going to be.
