I was just doing some geek work for a hydro energy project we're working on and ran into "Hooke's Law" about the harmonics you'd find in a simple pendulum.

Maybe that's why Hooky keeps going back and forth but keeps coming back to the same points???  :D ;D
Suppose you explain exactly what you mean by going back and forth. Use my statements please, not your interpretation.
Why? It's obvious.

You do it all the time.
Why don't you do it then.
I would If I had a staff to go through thousands of posts.

But a few I can think of right now is:

For and against Palin.
For and against Obama.
For and against lowering taxes.
For and against healthcare reform.

So I don't have to answer all your claims, why don't you provide a few illustrations as evidence of your claim. I also can't prove their isn't a God.....I decided to re-name you, by the way. Something not quite so insulting, depending on your interpretation, that is.

Let that name be......

SPONGEBOB.

And it is so.....

Now Spongebob, show me the errors, please Spongebob , sir.
Ahhhhh Kochspoon, the land of denial must be nice this time o' year...
why don't you provide a few illustrations as evidence of your claim.

NO!

Then shut the fuck up Spongebob.
Hooky is  subject to the dastardly program of competitive  mind fucking.
He swings around dramatically in that squall.

He swings around in a light breeze anyway -

so give him a break, how's he supposed to deal with all the contradictions when they all make sense to him.

Leave Hooky alone :)

Don't hate him for being trendy.
Thank you Bingy. ;D

I doubt I'm guilty as accused. I have no doubt I'm the worst explaining views on the entire forum.

If you take them one at a time, I'll be glad to admit the accusation may be true, or refute it. I doubt the accusation has any merit.
Give yourself a break, you repeat right wing drivel very well and endlessly...just like they do!
Ahhh, yes, I do favor some conservative ideas. Some liberal ones as well.
Fuck both of those clubs.
Hmmmm, easier to explain my position than going one by one. But, I agree.
I don't think so. You voted for Bush twice.

Much trepedation about Obama.

You plan to vote Republican again.

Would vote for Palin.

Dissatisfied with Obama.

You repeat Repub stuff all the time.

Your a conservative Republican with a few freedom related liberal ideas.

A few "freedom related ideas"? ;D ;D ;D

Freedom related. ;D ;D ;D

If I don't vote for Obama, I'll have to vote republican. Assuming he will run again. It's not a pick republican kind of deal. ;D ;D ;D Come on Spongebob. Hell, eat a crabby patty or something. ;D ;D

Show me the republican stuff. Shit, next minute you'll be calling me a racist because I disagree with Obama's actions.
You voted for Obama's actions.  He laid them out plainly and repeatedly during the campaign.

He laid them out plainly and repeatedly during the campaign.

yep.....and we all talked about it at the time.
BINGEWOOD — Sep 15, 2010You voted for Obama's actions.  He laid them out plainly and repeatedly during the campaign.

Did he? I seem to see much that hasn't transformed. Like healthcare as he described and spent a year fucking with while the economy went to shit. I heard him criticize Bush for Katrina and fuck up the oil spill in much the same slow action way. I see more divide in congress and senate than ever before. I see more spending than ever before with no results. I heard him say unemployment would never get over 8%, we're working on 10% now. If he spent the money he wanted to. Well, fuck that I guess.

Lets keep doing the same thing over and over and hope for different results. Hope and change doesn't mean keep doing the same. I have hope that he will change his strategy to anything that will work.
pickmaster60 — Sep 15, 2010 He laid them out plainly and repeatedly during the campaign.

Oh yeah, we discussed that. Damn sure did. I remember. I damn sure do. ;D

The economy WENT to shit?

A year o' filibuster and compromise on healthcare brought what we have.  This is due to conservatives both dum and pub. What do you see as the pros and cons?

I heard him criticize Bush for Katrina and fuck up the oil spill in much the same slow action way.

HAHAHAHAHAHAH! Laughable meng!  Did the oil industry have a plan to deal with its messes?  There was chaotic anarchy during Katrina with a huge pile of death and destruction that the gov. could have dealt with earlier, but the victims weren't rich so who cares.  There was no Katrina company whose RESPONSIBILITY it was to make things right.

I see more divide in congress and senate than ever before.

However the bills passed were not "liberal" bills.  Conservatives ran from their previous leader at the end of his presidency in an attempt to win.  They ran so far that they can't even refer to themselves as Republicans anymore.  They realized that they had to attack and try to make Bambam seem to be as bad as Muff from the gitgo...but we both know Muff was a bigger fuck up than any pres in recent history....not so bad if yer rich tho.

I see more spending than ever before with no results. I heard him say unemployment would never get over 8%, we're working on 10% now. If he spent the money he wanted to. Well, fuck that I guess.

Really, you heard him say that?  I know FOX repeats that but they don't show him saying that...strange, they repeat every other video statement or sentence fragment incessantly.

Lets keep doing the same thing over and over and hope for different results. Hope and change doesn't mean keep doing the same. I have hope that he will change his strategy to anything that will work.

Same thing over and over like 2000 - 2008?

Hook...it's funny you like to talk about Katrina. Yes levies are infrastructure.

Yet when we try and help our infrastructure your against it.

The same reason bridges are crumbling and killing people.

Nobody want's to pay.

Not realizing how crucial it is to our future.

"The president of the United States and his chief economic advisers said if we pass the stimulus package, unemployment will be a maximum of 8 percent," Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., told Fox News.

He must have got it from Fox or Mc cain's website. ;D

Hookbender — Sep 14, 2010Suppose you explain exactly what you mean by going back and forth. Use my statements please, not your interpretation.

3/9/10
The one thing I do agree with the repubs on is the tax cut thing

8/17/10
I would be in favor of letting all tax cuts for the rich, above 250k, or whatever, expire

8/20/10

No, I don't support lower taxes

9/8/10

Apparently tax cuts are the only predictable method of improving the economy. Far from a bridge to nowhere. They are the only known and predictable medicine for the problem.

9/17/10

Tax breaks from the chosen one. He's becoming a believer as well. I may end up kinda liking the dude again. Tax breaks helping the economy.....

3/9 you favor tax cuts
8/7 you don't for those over 250
8/20 you don't
9/8 you do
9/17 you do
Next month....who knows

Well, I've been back and forth on this issue and have finally decided to support it
Also, presented with proof that they don't help fucking anything except to create more deficit, you still think they are the answer.  You didn't mind the deficit when it was giving 52% of the money back the richest 5% of people in the country.  At a cost (against the deficit) of 2.5 trillion!

It's not a matter of spending, it's a matter of priorities.  For less than half the cost of the Bush tax cuts, we get healthcare for just about everyone.  Yet you'd rather have that money go to the rich, because then it will "reduce the deficit and help the economy."

How?

Rich people don't take that money and invest it in workers.  They don't share it with their employees.  They don't buy goods with it.  You know what they do?  They stick it in the bank.  That helps a couple more rich bankers, but does jack shit for the economy.

3/9-I favor tax cuts
8/7-I don't favor tax cuts for those making over 250
8/20-Correct, I don't. Taxes are already cut enough. Americans need to know the taxes are gonna stay the same
9/8-Correct. I just don't favor tax cuts for the rich.
9/17-Yep, like it.

Pretty much in order as far as I can see. Good try Spongebob. Got anything else? This is fun. One must remember that the so called Bush tax cuts are in place already. No need to lower them again, I don't guess. But I would raise them to previous levels for the rich at a certain income level. Personally, I'd like to see that number raised to 350k or 400k, income level. But I'd support the 250 if I had a vote. After all, everything in my world would still be peachy. "I" wouldn't be "seeing" any tax increases. Right Spongebob? Your world would be peachy too Spongebob.
That's exactly what you voted for... good move.
That's what Obama wants as well. Good guy that he is. :)

Now Healthcare. You want that right?

Or did you you want it put off untill the Dems are out of office when it sure won't happen. I know it already has and it may not be perfect and it was compromised.
May not not be the best time to you....but it won't happen otherwise.

....And help with our infrastructure and creating jobs. Because we know the Repubs are not going to put money back into that. They can't because they want to give it to the rich through tax cuts. Or make war with it.

Hooky is just like me
A little more stupid - but basically the same  :)
How so?

Well, theirs 10% of people unemployed. 20% don't have healthcare. The economy is horrible. We're trying to end 1 war and we're in a war. We have debt like we've never seen before. The housing market is in shambles. ETC.

Would you spend a year of your only term as President trying to help 20% of the people get healthcare when the American public doesn't want what's proposed only to accept a small portion of what you want in the first place? Or, could you be more productive in other areas?
Good point!  We definitely should have invaded North Korea and Iran by now, don't you think?
Would you spend a year of your only term as President trying to help 20% of the people get healthcare when the American public doesn't want what's proposed

1)You don't know know that this will be Obama's only term.
2)Americans want healthcare reform.
3)I'm not convinced that many of the American public understand what is proposed.
4)Your questions are logically flawed ... fallacious.
5) I believe you suffer from chimerism.

1)Yeah, I think it is his only term. But, the question was addressed to you, as if you were President. Nothing in the question mentions Obama.
2)The majority didn't at the time of passing, and some polls show they still don't
3)Correct. And that leads to the question of why didn't Obama do as he said he would and make sure bills were passed so everyone would know what was in the bill. Even Nancy P. was quoted as saying..."we need to pass the healthcare bill so we can see what's in it".
4)They are hypothetical questions addressed to you.
5)I believe you have a problem with reading comprehension.

You need to think less about wining and concentrate on your comprehension skills.
I don't want to answer your logically fallacious hypothetical questions.

In other words no, you wouldn't have perused healthcare. Thank you very much. ;D
I chose to argue from the reality side of things ;) uh oh....plagerism.
pickmaster60 — Sep 19, 2010I chose to argue from the reality side of things ;) uh oh....plagerism.

You can't argue anything if you can't understand what the other side is saying. Uh oh, reality again. Real reality.
Hookbender — Sep 19, 2010In other words no, you wouldn't have perused healthcare. Thank you very much. ;D

Why wouldn't I peruse healthcare?
Would you peruse it.....did you?
So, if you were President, why wouldn't you go after healthcare reform?
Hookbender — Sep 19, 2010So, if you were President, why wouldn't you go after healthcare reform?

Why would you think I wouldn't?

Why would you think I wouldn't?

Well, your answer is no...you wouldn't have gone after healthcare reform, so I'm assuming it has something to do with the more important problems our country faces right now. ;D

You sure are defensive, are you confused? Scared maybe? ;D ;D

Can't find any articles that answer that question for you? :o ;D
