Do you think Stratman might be a tea party kinda guy ?
I think he might be ;D ;D ;D ;D
Do political movements come about because of heart felt noble principles.
Or do they come about because of astute chancers identifying an opportunity to leverage off ignorant people's prejudices and exploit and encourage imagined grievance.
I know what I think - so the question is rhetorical.
As for Hooks latest posts.
it has the same old US is bust as the IMF told them that the 14% GDP gap needs to be filled.
It is all over the internet, with whacko's masquerading as professors of economics/
apparently one prominent one has made out that the US owes £220 tn - yes $220 tn, just in case you think it is a typo.
in the oh so serious "I am an Economist" language of "Unfunded liabilities"
As I pointed out to chase - last time he was here - he dissapeared after - the IMF mentioned 14% as that is the fucking budget deficit - it is huge, it needs to be addressed.
It is also happens to be a republican deficit - Jesus Christ could not deal with being dealt that hand, unless he had recourse to magic.
But it is not 14% per year, like it is growing like an interest rate, it is simply you are spending more than you tax by 14% of GDP a year.
That is shit - but is is rediculous how the morons spin it.
It is the same strategy the creationists use when pretending to be doing science.
Their version of intelligent design for economics.
